Thank you! Hitch is one of my faaaaavorite directors. My most frequently re-watched film from him is To Catch a Thief but my favorites are Blackmail, Notorious and Strangers on a Train. (I could never choose just one, haha.)
7 - Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, both on screen and off.
17 - ‘Ishamel’ by Daniel Quinn, ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ by Harper Lee, ‘We Have Always Lived in the Castle’ by Shirley Jackson or ‘Never Let Me Go’ by Kazuo Ishiguro (can’t pick just one)
27 - Old books or campfire (again, couldn’t pick just one!)
This is going to sound like a very stereotypical choice, but if I had to choose one film to be my favorite of all time it would be ‘The Wizard of Oz.’ Not only is it a fantastically constructed film, but it was also one of the earliest films to introduce me to the classics (along with ‘Gone with the Wind,’ which is another that has been a favorite since childhood). I learned to tie my shoes while watching it, I was so young!
I got Gene Tierney and William Wyler from bettybogart. My favorite from Gene is Where the Sidewalk Ends and my favorites from WW are The Children’s Hour, The Heiress, Roman Holiday, The Letter and The Best Years of Our Lives. He’s one of my top ten directors. :) Switching from app to browser now so I can reply to any others correctly… haha
1. Snitch. I always tag along with my dad when he goes to the movies; sometimes I end up pleasantly surprised by the films he chooses, sometimes I’m less than impressed. This time, I was less than impressed haha.

8. Made For Each Other. I love Carole and Jimmy but found the film as a whole to be so tedious, and not in a the “this movie is so emotional that it’s wearing me out” good way.
9. Primrose Path (1940). I never hear anyone talk about it, but Ginger Rogers is flippin’ amazing as Ellie May.
Thanks for asking! :)
6. Seeing Casablanca on the big screen. It was my first public showing of a classic film, and to watch it in a room full of people who love it as much as I do was an amazing experience!
4. Oh geeze, this is a tough one… off of the top of my head, in no order I’d probably go with Hitchcock, George Cukor, William Wyler, Michael Curtiz, Vincente Minnelli
12. Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Joel McCrea, Gene Kelly, Gregory Peck
Thanks for asking! :)

(And I’m responding this way because I don’t know how all that fan mail message business works):
never seen it | need to see it | hate it | ugh | it was okay | LOVED IT | asdfghjkl

Glad you like them! There seems to be a lack of Gidget on the internet so I screencapped all of the films :) I also own the TV series so if you like Sally Field as Gidget, I’ll probably be posting some of those soon too!
7 - Consistently negative attitudes, people who hate animals or are inconsiderate toward the elderly, self-obsession
10 - Passion for a hobby/career is the biggest one. Whether it’s making music, painting, woodwork, anything really… I am instantly drawn to people who put their all into the things they love to do.
Thank you for all of the questions! :)
